MacKenzie Schulz was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week as released on Monday, Nov. 25. The honor comes after leading the Oilers to a dominant 69-50 win over the University of Indianapolis.
The Strongsville, Ohio native recorded had a career-high in both points and rebounds, scoring 22 points and grabbing 11 rebounds for her first double-double of the season. She shot 6-of-10 from 3-point range (60%), the most made threes by a player in the G-MAC this season.
The last time a women's basketball player at UF won G-MAC Athlete of the Week dates back to 2021 when former standout Sydney Kin earned the honor on Jan. 11.
