Indianapolis, Ind.- The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) revealed its selections for the 2024 baseball all-conference teams on Wednesday, May 8, coinciding with the start of the Great Midwest Baseball Championship Tournament. Findlay, the tournament's third seed, earned four all-conference accolades. Seniors
Cam Farrar,
Cole Kwiatkowski, and
Sebastian Jones were named first team while senior
Logan Bragg was named second team.
First Team Selections
The center fielder, Farrar, leads Findlay's offense hitting .353 on the season while leading the team and the conference with 58 RBI. He has recorded 11 home runs this season and currently leads the G-MAC as the all-time home run leader with 41 in his career. The Clyde, Ohio native has scored 42 runs, stolen nine bases, and carries a slugging percentage of .581. Farrar was named G-MAC Athlete of the Week twice this season on both Feb. 19 and March 11. This is his third all-conference honor of his career.Â
Kwiatkowski, the shortstop for Findlay, earns his first all-conference honor of his career. The Sylvania, Ohio native is hitting .349 on the season to go along with nine doubles, two triples, and five home runs. He leads the team in stolen bases, going 20-of-26 this season. He has 51 hits this season and 43 runs recorded.
The relief pitcher, Jones, also earns the first all-conference honor of his career. Jones has a record of 5-2 on the mound while amassing four saves for the Orange and Black. His ERA of 3.05 is one of the best for Findlay's pitching staff. The Mount Pleasant, Mich. native has pitched 41.1 innings this season allowing just 18 runs while striking out 39.
Second Team Selections
Logan Bragg, Findlay's starting pitcher, is 4-4 on the year, throwing 75.1 innings. He has two shutouts on the season, amassing 56 strikeouts. The Newark, Ohio native has an 4.78 ERA on the year.
