Top-10 Individual Performances | #10 Alexys Antal

The Oilers had another incredible year as multiple student-athletes saw success at both the conference and national level. In order to further honor those accomplishments, Findlay's media relations staff has put together a top-10 list of individual performances from the year and will release them throughout the summer months.

#9 | Alexys Antal | Softball

Sophomore Alexys Antal led the Oilers softball team to a 34-20 record, the third consecutive season the program has logged 30+ wins. Antal was named first team all-conference by the Great Midwest before being named first team all-region by both the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) and the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA).

The utility pitcher led the pitching staff with a 1.91 ERA and 109 strikeouts in 113.1 innings pitched. Antal, became the third pitcher in Findlay program history to throw a perfect game. She was later named Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week and NFCA National Athlete of the Week for that performance against Malone on April 13.

The Topeka, Ind. native also led the Oilers' offense, topping the team with a .405 batting average. She recorded 70 hits on the year which ranks third in a single season at Findlay. Antal was also the team's top scorer, crossing the plate 38 times this season.
