Preview: Great Midwest Women's Soccer Championship

The Tournament
The 2025 Great Midwest Women's Soccer Championship Tournament will begin on November 8, with the top six teams competing on the campus of the higher seed. The semifinals will take place on the campus of Ashland University on November 13, and the champion will be crowned on November 15.

This season marks the fourteenth Women's Soccer Championship Tournament. Last season, Ashland claimed its third Great Midwest title after defeating No. 3 seeded Northwood. The Eagles lead the league with three championship titles.

The University of Findlay women's soccer team has advanced directly to the semifinals of the 2025 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Women's Soccer Championship, after earning a bye in the quarterfinals. The Oilers, seeded second in the event, will face the winner of the quarterfinal match between Cedarville and Thomas More.

Findlay enters the semifinal match boasting one of the most balanced attacks in the conference, averaging 2.06 goals per game—the second-best mark in the G-MAC. Defensively, the Oilers have been equally dominant, tying for the conference lead with just 10 goals allowed all season, an average of only 0.56 per contest.

Senior Sydney Noble has led the charge offensively for the Orange and Black, recording eight goals and seven assists for a team-best 23 points. Freshman Addison Williams has made an immediate impact as well, matching Noble with eight goals and adding two assists of her own. Noble ranks second in the conference with 0.44 goals per game through 18 matches, while Williams sits fourth with a 0.50 average across 16 appearances.

Seniors Raegan Smith and Ava Ayers each added six goals, and sophomore Avary Zeisloft chipped in four, showcasing the Oilers' offensive depth and versatility.

On the defensive side, seniors Jenna Rybicki and Kaylynn Simon, along with junior Ashlyn Brown, anchored one of the toughest back lines in the conference, each logging over 1,400 minutes this season. Senior Payton Miller proved to be a key presence in the midfield, appearing in all 18 games and contributing three assists while providing steady leadership and strong two-way play.

In goal, seniors Audrey Gibson-Zweifel and Cat Graves shared duties, combining for 12 clean sheets and helping Findlay maintain one of the league's best goals-against averages. Graves leads the conference in goals-against average (0.44), shutouts per game (0.67), and save percentage (.879), allowing just four goals all season.
