Allendale, Mich. - The University of Findlay men's golf team continued its' participation in the 2025 Folds of Honor Challenge, hosted by Grand Valley State University at The Meadows Golf Club in Allendale, Michigan. After completing 36 holes, the Oilers are currently in seventh place with a combined score of 600 (+32), following a team score of 295 (+11) on Tuesday, September 16.
Freshman Ross Dietz led the team on Tuesday with an impressive round of 72, marking the best individual score for a UF player in the event so far. Starting on the tenth hole, Dietz was four over par through the first 12 holes. However, an eagle on the par-five fourth hole and a birdie on the par-five ninth helped him finish at one-over, securing a tie for 36th place on the individual leaderboard.
Sophomore Cahle Roth contributed a round of 73 (+2) that featured two birdies. Roth is currently tied for 31st place with a 36-hole score of 151 (+9). Junior Tyler Brockwell and senior Luke Metzger are both tied for 27th place, having posted scores of 74 (+3) and 76 (+5), respectively. Both sit at 149 (+7) after two rounds.

The Oilers will conclude play at the Folds of Honor Challenge tomorrow, September 17. The first University of Findlay player on the course will be Luke Siefker, who is scheduled to tee off at 12:30 pm.
