Allendale, Mich. — The University of Findlay women's golf team claimed their first team victory of the season on Wednesday, September 17, at the Folds of Honor Challenge hosted at The Meadows at Grand Valley State University. With the win, Findlay earned their second invitation to compete at the 2026 Folds of Honor Intercollegiate held at American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Michigan.
Junior
Ashleigh Duflo capped off an impressive tournament with a final-round 70 (-1), finishing two-under overall to claim individual medalist honors. The victory marks her second career individual title with both of them earned at The Meadows at Grand Valley State University, with her first coming at the NCAA Division II Regionals in May.
Senior
Hayley Dye delivered the next lowest score for the Oilers, carding a steady 74 (+3) to finish four-over for the tournament and secure a sixth-place finish. Freshman
Emma Myers made an immediate impact in her first start for Findlay, turning in a 75 (+4) to contribute to the team's final tally.
Sophomore
Gracie James added a 76 (+5), finishing ten-over for the week, while senior
Ellie Yeazell closed with a 77 (+6). Despite Yeazell's higher final round, her strong play early in the week allowed her to finish three-over for the tournament and claim an impressive fourth-place overall finish.
Competing as an individual, senior
Audrey Keplar carded her best round of the event with a 75 (+4). Freshman
Paige Weiss rounded out the Oilers' efforts with an 80 (+9) in her first collegiate appearance.
The Oilers defeated second place No. 11 Grand Valley State by 26-strokes, No. 1 Dallas Baptist by 28-strokes, and No. 8 West Texas A&M by 30 strokes.
The Oilers will return to action on Monday, September 22, as they travel to Washington, Mich., to take part in the Warrior Invitational at The Orchards Golf Club.
