Indianapolis, Ind. - Junior Anamarija Kovacevic has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week as released on Monday, Sep. 22. The award comes after Kovacevic went a perfect 6-0 at the Hillsdale Summer Invitational this past week, starting off the 2025-26 season unbeaten.

The Belgrade, Serbia native was a perfect in the A Draw singles bracket where she won her first two matches in straight sets. In the finals, she took down Hillsdale's first team all-G-MAC standout Ane Dannhauser by a score of 6-7, 6-4, 10-8. Later, in the A Draw doubles bracket, Kovacevic and sophomore Audrey Ouellet teammed up to go 3-0 and win the title with a 7-5 victory over Wayne State's Malak Arafat and Selin Kayakent. 

This is the fifth Athlete of the Week award in Kovacevic's career.
