Peru, Ind. - The University of Findlay men's golf team was back in action on Monday, Sep. 29 for the first day of play in the Fall Midwest Collegiate. After 36 holes of action on day one, the Oilers find themselves in fourth place. A 297 (+9) in round one and a 296 (+8) in round two led to a 17 over finish.
Leading the Orange and Black on day one was
Zach Miller. The senior recorded a 76 (+4) in round one, but finished strong with a 70 (-2) in round two to bring his score to two over. Miller currently finds himself in a tie for ninth.
Fellow Senior
Luke Metzger would finish 36 holes of play at three over. He would begin the day with a 74 (+2), before finishing with a 73 (+1)
The Oilers will be back in action tomorrow, Tuesday, Sep. 30 for the last round of the Fall Midwest Collegiate.
