Indianapolis, Ind.- The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced its weekly honors on Monday, Oct. 12, naming Michelle Jativa the Women's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week following her performance against Hillsdale and Davenport.

The sophomore distance swimmer delivered a dominant sweep in the distance freestyle events to help propel the Oilers to team victories over both Hillsdale and Davenport. Jativa opened her day by winning the 1000 Free with a time of 10:43.89 and followed up with a gold-medal performance in the 500 Free, clocking in at 5:12.83. Her distance sweep secured critical team points and set the standard for Findlay's individual performances.
