Indianapolis, Ind. – University of Findlay women's golfer Emma Myers has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Women's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Monday, Oct. 26. The sophomore helped lead the Oilers to a dominant victory at the Intercollegiate at Nemacolin, where Findlay defeated a field featuring six nationally ranked top-25 programs by 27 strokes. The Oilers posted a tournament-record team score of 864 (E) to secure the win and close their fall season with three tournament victories.

Myers claimed medalist honors, earning the first tournament victory of her collegiate career. She carded rounds of 73, 68 and 71 to finish at four-under-par 212, securing a three-stroke victory. Her three-round total also established a new career low.
