Men’s Tennis Campaign Ends in Regional Matchup with Indianapolis

Box Score Indianapolis, Ind.- Midwest Regional #1, falling 4-0 to top-seeded host University of Indianapolis on Monday, May 11. The appearance marked just the second NCAA Regional berth in program history for the Oilers.

The Greyhounds claimed the doubles point despite a victory from Findlay's second doubles pairing of Soh Kuyama and Matthis Veniard, who earned a 6-4 win.

Leading 1-0, Indianapolis extended its advantage in singles play. Kuyama fell in the number two singles match by scores of 6-0, 6-2 before Runa Kagoshima dropped a 6-4, 6-3 decision at number three singles. The Greyhounds secured the regional victory at number six singles as Nicolo Lippolis fell 6-1, 6-3.

Findlay concludes its season with a 12-9 overall record.
