Coral Springs, Fla. – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) has announced the 2025-26 Golf Pride Regional Coaches of the Year on Monday, June 1. For the sixth time in his career, head coach Dominic Guarnieri was named the Division II Golf Pride WGCA East Region Coach of the Year. For the fifth consecutive year, Dominic Guarnieri was named WGCA East Region Coach of the Year after leading the Oilers to their ninth straight conference championship, including eight consecutive titles in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) and one in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). Under his leadership, Findlay advanced to its seventh consecutive NCAA Division II National Championship, finishing among the nation's top five teams in each of those appearances. Since the 2013-14 season, the Oilers have recorded ten top-10 finishes at the national championship, solidifying Findlay's place among the premier women's golf programs in the country.

During the 2025-26 season, Guarnieri guided the Oilers to seven tournament championships, highlighted by titles at the G-MAC Championship and NCAA East Regional. Findlay also produced five individual medalists throughout the year.
