Prep - Was a 3 time state champion in discus....Was also state champion in shotput...Was part of the 2009 USA Junior Pan AM team where he placed 3rd in the Hammer Throw...Was aslo on the 2010 USA Junior World Championship team and placed 10th in the Hammer Throw

Personal - Born Justin Tayolr Welch... Son of Howard and Mary Welch... Has one sister.
