2012-13 - Was an alternate on the Oilers 4x400 national qualifying team during the indoor season.

Prep - Was a four time letter winner and MVP in golf...Was a four time letter winner and two time MVP in track...Was named two time all-Ohio in the 300 hurdles...Was a two time state qualifier in the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles...And was a state qualifier in the 4x2.

Personal - Born Kyle Ronald Smithey...Son of Jim and Hedi Smithey...Has one brother.
