Dr. Jaclyn Schalk is an Assistant Professor of Business at the University of Findlay, a position she has held since January 2020. Prior to joining the faculty, she served as the Director of Gift Planning at Findlay from 2013 to 2020. Before that, Dr. Schalk was the Director of Development and Assistant Director of Gift Planning at Bowling Green State University from 2008 to 2013. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Regional Manager for Black & Decker from 2003 to 2008.

Dr. Schalk holds a Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership Studies and a Master’s degree in Organization Development, both from Bowling Green State University. She also earned her undergraduate degree from Miami University.

She serves as a liaison between the institution and the athletics department- she is also a representative of the institution in conference and NCAA affairs. Schalk ensures that the academic institution establishes and maintains the appropriate balance between academics and intercollegiate athletics.
