The University of Findlay baseball team fell to Saginaw Valley State by the score of 7-2 on Thursday, March 7 in Clearwater, Fla.
Jordan Garcia and Blake Schmenk recorded the Oilers' only RBIs in the game, both in the second inning. Joe Sickler, Victor Migliore, Dylan Cintula and Michael Louis each recorded singles for Findlay.
Mason Mayberry took the loss in the contest.
Earlier in the day, the Oilers fell to Urbana University 12-5.
Sickler led Findlay with two doubles and three RBIs while Tommy Roush added a double of his own.
Jon Walker was tagged with the loss.
The Oilers record is now 6-5 overall. They will begin conference play on March 20 when they travel to Tiffin.
