Track Completes 2014 National Championship

Results

The University of Findlay men and women's outdoor track and field teams completed the final day of the 2014 NCAA Division II National Championship on May 24 in Allendale, Mich.

The men's squad placed 11th with a total of 20 points while the women took 52nd with three points.

Senior Dillon Webster led the charge on the third day by taking seventh in the 800-meter run to earn All-American honors. Webster crossed the finish line in 1:49.74 to earn his placing.

Sophomore Lydia Guagenti cleared a height of 5'5 in the high jump to finish 12th while freshman Ben Hahler took 16th in the shot put with a heave of 51'09.

Junior Demorrio Leggett placed 19th in the triple jump after leaping to a distance of 45'05.02 while junior Kendra Averesch fouled on all three of her attempts in the shot put.
