The University of Findlay volleyball team defeated Malone University 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-17), on November 16, in Hillsdale, Mich. at the 2017 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Quarterfinal. This will bring Findlay's season record to 26-5 and their G-MAC record to 15-2.

Findlay hit .305 versus the Pioneers, and were led by junior Amanda Winner and sophomore Molly Hammersmith who recorded 13 kills each. Sophomore Izzy Murphy recorded six kills, while sophomore Shelby Kin added five.

Junior Hailee Olson recorded 35 assists and eight digs in the win.

Defensively, the Oilers were led by junior Kara Scherger who recorded 18 digs, while sophomore Ally Duncan contributed six digs, and Winner and senior Megan Wendel added five digs each.

The Oilers will be back in action tomorrow, November 17 in the G-MAC Semifinals in Hillsdale, Mich. at 5:00pm.
