Box Score

The University of Findlay men's basketball team secured at least a share of their third straight Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) regular season title with a last-second 77-75 win at Cedarville University on Feb. 26.

The Oilers were in control for most of the game, holding a lead for over 39 minutes in the game before Cedarville made a run and tied the game at 75-75 with only six seconds left. The Oiler then raced the ball down the floor and got a good look from junior forward Anthony Masterlasco that bounced off the rim and was tipped in by sophomore guard Ethan Linder for the game-winner.

The Oilers shot 46.9 percent (23-of-49) from the floor and went to the free throw line 40 times in the game, making 25 attempts at a 62.5% clip. They also held a 39-30 advantage on the boards and outscored Cedarville 32-24 in the paint.

Linder led the charge with 20 points and five rebounds while Masterlasco recorded a double-double with 18 points and ten boards.

Freshman forward Nathan Bruns had 18 points and four rebounds before departing with an injury while junior guard Tre'Maine Gray had six points off the bench.

The Oilers will return home to host Hillsdale College on Saturday for senior day. The contest is scheduled to begin at 3pm in Niekamp Arena.
