Romeoville, Ill. - The  University of Findlay men's and women's cross country teams took on their largest field of the year, participating in the Lewis Crossover Invite on Saturday, Oct. 7. The Oilers' women took 15th of 33 teams while the men finished 18th ouf of 31 teams.

We got to battle some of the top individuals in all of Division II. Having a teammate like Jordan (Foster) up front makes me feel more calm and helps us execute our race plan together. For both of us to walk away with top-15 finishes against a loaded field means a lot to us and the program.

Overall, our team is young, so to be able to get several underclassmen the experience of racing nationally ranked teams will help us take a big step towards the future.
