Colts Release
Findlay, Ohio - Former University of Findlay wide receiver Drew Ogletree has officially earned his spot on the 53-man roster for the Indianapois Colts as announced by the organization on Tuesday, Aug. 29.
Ogletree, who was drafted by the Colts in the sixth round in 2022, is the third Findlay player in the last seven years to find a home on an 53-man NFL roster. He joins Harold Jones-Quartey, who spent two years on the Chicago Bears, and Jason Moore, who spent four seasons on the Los Angeles Chargers.
While at Findlay, Ogletree, who transferred to Youngstown St. for his final season, caught 51 passes for 756 yards and ten touchdowns. He burst onto the scene as a sophomore when he made six receptions for 81 yards in the Oilers' 29-17 playoff win against #2 Shepherd in 2017. The following year he tied for the team lead in touchdown receptions and averaged more than 15 yards per catch and, alongside Moore, made Findlay's passing offense one of the most lethal in the conference.
