Findlay, Ohio - The University of Findlay women's soccer team took on the Rollins College Tars in their first regular season game at DeHaven Soccer Complex on Aug. 31. The Oilers fell to the Tars 3-1 in the season opener. 

The Tars scored the lone goal of the first half in the 38th minute. Senior Madison Mlsna then tied the game with a penalty kick in the 53rd minute, however it was Rollins that dominated the half. The Tars outshot the Oilers 12-3 in the second period, two of which were back-to-back goals, coming just ten minutes apart. 

Senior Kennedy Slovak started in goal making one save while allowing one goal. Sophomore Audrey Gibson-Zweifel then took her place in the second half, she recorded three saves.

The Oilers look ahead to their next match Sep 2 against Illinois-Springfield at DeHaven Soccer Complex. Kickoff is scheduled for 2pm.
