Brookfield, Ill. - The Don Hansen Football Committee has released the 2024 Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-America team and University of Findlay standout offensive lineman
Yoesph Carter has been named to the second team.
Continuing to rack up awards, the graduate senior out of Cincinnati, Ohio started all 11 games at right guard for the Oilers this year. His blocking helped lead the Oilers to 136 rushing yards per game, nearly 400 yards of total offense per game, and 32 points per game, the second-highest total in the G-MAC. He has now earned all-American honors from two reputable organizations, the American Football Coaches' Association (AFCA) and the Don Hansen Football Committee, to go along with his first team all-region selection and Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Offensive Lineman of the Year awards.
The Don Hansen team carries out the legacy of long-time small college football advocate Don Hansen, who passed away at age 75 on Aug. 29, 2010. Hansen, from Brookfield, Ill., started and published Don Hansen's National Weekly Football Gazette for three decades, selecting NCAA Division II All-America teams for the first time in 1988.
Carter is the 12th player in program history to earn Don Hansen All-American honors and is the fifth offensive lineman to do so. Only offensive lineman
Michael Jerrell, a 2023 graduate, has been named twice.
