New Orleans, Louisiana - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) recently announced its' selections for their annual Regional Athletes and Coaches of the Year and University of Findlay head coach Jared Krout was named as the Women's Coach of the Year.

In his seventh season at the helm, Krout took the women's squad to new heights as the team won the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Outdoor Championship and went on to finish seventh in the country at the NCAA DII National Championship, its' second-highest finish in program history. His squad took home 14 first team all-American honors at the national meet.

Krout is the first at Findlay to be a recipient of the USTFCCCA Regional Outdoor Coach of the Year on either the men's or women's side.
