Indianapolis, Ind.- Sophomore Colleen Steinmetz was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week as released by the conference office on Monday, Jan. 26. The honor comes after her performance on Friday at the Hillsdale Wide Track Classic. 

The Ansonia, Ohio, native captured first place in the elite pole vault, clearing an NCAA provisional height of 4.02 meters—currently the seventh-best mark in Division II this season.

This is Steinmetz's first G-MAC Indoor Athlete of the Week honor of the season.
