Findlay, Ohio - The University of Findlay football team, which has turned in 13 winning seasons in the last 14 years, has released its' 2025 football schedule. The slate features seven home games, the most regular-season home games in the NCAA era of the Oilers' football program.

"We are very excited about our 2025 schedule", said head coach Kory Allen. "We have quality non-conference games and our always challenging Great Midwest schedule. We return a veteran football team and look forward to representing the University of Findlay on the gridiron."

The season and home opener is on Sep. 6 in Donnell Stadium against an opponent the Oilers have not seen since 2011, the University of Indianapolis. A second consecutive home game takes place in week two when Wayne State University makes the return trip to Findlay after the two tangled in Detroit last season. It will be the Warriors first time coming to Donnell since 2016.

A trip to Lake Erie College opens up the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) schedule and is followed with a home game against Thomas More on Sep. 27.

Week five sees the Oilers travel to take on Walsh University in North Canton before a three-game home stand where UF will welcome in Hillsdale, Kentucky Wesleyan, and Ohio Dominican. The game on Oct. 11 against the Chargers will serve as Findlay's 2025 Homecoming Game.

Trips to Northwood and Ashland in weeks nine and ten wrap up the road slate before the Oilers return to Donnell Stadium on Nov. 15 for the seventh home game of the season, The Battle of 224 against Tiffin University.

Findlay finished the 2024 season with a 9-2 record and, during the year, climbed as high as #20 in the NCAA Division II poll.
