Women's Soccer Wins Big in Regular Season Finale | Records 5-0 Shutout

Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay women's soccer team closed out the regular season in dominant fashion, earning a 5-0 victory over Tiffin University on Tuesday, November 4, at DeHaven Field. With the win, Findlay improves to 11-3-4 overall and 10-2-2 in the G-MAC, and Tiffin 3-12-3, 2-10-2.

Findlay wasted no time taking control as senior Ava Ayers found the back of the net in the 6th minute, finishing a precise pass from senior Sydney Noble. The Oilers continued to press offensively, generating numerous opportunities but held a narrow 1-0 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Findlay's attack erupted for four goals. Senior Raegan Smith doubled the lead in the 47th minute off a free kick setup from senior Jenna Rybicki, and just two minutes later, Ayers tallied her second goal of the day—again assisted by Noble, who delivered her second helper of the match.

Noble wasn't finished, as she added a goal of her own in the 68th minute to make it 4-0.

Rounding out the scoring, junior Morgan Sparks recorded her first goal of the season and her career in the 88th minute, with freshman Addison Williams providing the assist.

The Oilers dominated every statistical category, outshooting the Dragons 27-3 and holding a commanding 15-1 edge in shots on goal. Findlay also earned 12 corner kicks to Tiffin's zero, controlling possession for nearly the entire match.

Defensively, Findlay remained solid as senior goalkeeper Cat Graves faced minimal pressure but came up with one save to secure her sixth shutout of the season.

Offensively, Noble led the way with one goal and two assists, while Ayers added a two-goal performance to highlight the team's explosive showing.

The Oilers now shift their focus to the Great Midwest Championship Tournament as they await official seeding and matchup announcements.
