Findlay, Ohio- The University of Findlay cheerleading program has announced tryout information for the 2026–27 season. In-person tryouts will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 12:00–4:00 p.m inside the Ralph & Gladys Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex.
All individuals interested in trying out must complete the 2026–27 Cheer Application and submit a required video as part of the registration process. To be eligible to participate in tryouts, applicants must submit the completed form and video by March 1, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET, and must be formally accepted into the University of Findlay. Additional details regarding in-person tryouts will be shared following the application deadline.

Required Video Criteria
Videos do not need to be professionally produced; however, submissions should present candidates in a professional manner and highlight their strengths as a student-athlete.
- Videos must be filmed horizontally
- No music is permitted in any clips
- Videos must be current and recorded within the last two months
Attire Requirements
Women: Black top, black shorts, orange ribbon, ponytail, and makeup
Men: White T-shirt, black shorts

Video Production Order
- Personal Introduction (30–45 seconds): Name, hometown, cheer team/gym, and a brief explanation of why you want to be part of the UF Cheer Team and attend the University of Findlay.
- Tumbling: Demonstrate all tumbling skills and verbally identify each skill prior to performing.
- Stunting: Demonstrate three different stunts (if applicable) and verbally identify each stunt prior to performing.
Candidates who complete the application and video submission process will be invited to attend in-person tryouts on March 28, 2026.
