Austin, Texas - On Tuesday, April 22, the College Sports Communicators announced their selections for the 2024-25 Academic All-America® men's swimming & diving teams and Findlay had a pair of athletes selected as junior Matteo Filippi was named first team and junior Emily Mears-Bentley was named second team.

The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes swimming honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. This particular award recognizes student-athletes that competed in at least five competitions or finish top-eight at a conference meet. in their sport that carry a 3.50 or above grade point average. After being named Academic All-District, nominees are moved to the all-America committee where only the top student-athletes are selected for all-American honors.
