Findlay, Ohio - On Tuesday, April 29, University of Findlay football graduate Yoesph Carter signed as a rookie minicamp invitee with the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). Carter, a 6-4, 295-pound offensive lineman, is the tenth player from Findlay in the last 12 years to sign with an NFL squad.

Carter spent one year with the Oilers and put together a solid campaign, ultimately garnering three all-American honors. The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year and Gene Upshaw Award Nominee, started all 11 games at right guard for the Oilers this year. His blocking helped lead the Oilers to 136 rushing yards per game, nearly 400 yards of total offense per game, and 32 points per game, the second-highest total in the G-MAC.
