Women's Squad Wins | XC Competes at Warrior Challenge

Detroit, Mich. – The University of Findlay men's and women's cross country teams competed at their second event of the season on Friday, Sep. 12, running at the Warrior Challenge. The Oilers' women picked up the win while the men finished third.

Sophomore Lauren Sattler picked up her second individual win of the year, taking first in the race with a time of 22:28.60. Senior Sarah Reinhart took third while freshman Josilyn Welch took eighth and junior Olivia Fenbert finished ninth to round out top-ten finishers in the 6k race.

On the men's side, sophomore Asher Long led the way with a 25:54.30 in the 8k, good for eighth in the race. Also in the top-ten was junior Elijah Hadler who clocked a 25:57.70 and finished ninth.
