Allendale, Mich. — The University of Findlay women's tennis team wrapped up competition at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Regional Tournament, hosted by Grand Valley State University from Oct. 10-12.

The Oilers were led by the top-seeded tandem of Claudia Pastor and Kyna Decruy, who captured the Flight C doubles championship. Pastor and Decruy yielded just four total games across three matches, capped by an 8-3 victory over Northwood's third-seeded Arianna Kinney and Brigitte Gomez in the final.

In Flight A singles, 14th-seeded Maria Depablos put together a standout runner-up finish. Depablos advanced all the way to the championship match after knocking off third-seeded Mischa Briggs of Grand Valley State in the round of 16 and fifth-seeded Jemimah Choi of Tiffin in the semifinals before falling to Grand Valley State's top-seeded Natasha Sengphrachanh in the final.
