Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Findlay Wins 3-0 at Walsh

North Canton, Ohio - The University of Findlay women's soccer team continued its impressive scoring form Thursday, October 22, earning a 3-0 victory over Walsh University. With the win, the Oilers improved to 11-2-3 overall and 8-1-3 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play while extending their unbeaten streak to nine games.

Findlay wasted little time getting on the scoreboard, as sophomore Addison Williams opened the scoring at 6:36 with an assist from senior Taylir Lynam. The Oilers struck again shortly after, with junior Avary Zeisloft finding the back of the net off an assist from fifth-year Raegan Smith. Smith then added a goal of her own just minutes later to give Findlay a 3-0 advantage.

The Oilers continued to apply pressure in the second half, recording 11 shots and earning three corner kicks while forcing two saves from the Walsh goalkeeper. Despite their continued offensive efforts, Findlay was unable to add to its lead, securing the 3-0 shutout victory.

Williams' goal marked her 10th of the season, while Smith's goal brought her season total to seven. Zeisloft also continued her recent scoring form, finding the scoresheet for the second consecutive game.

In goal, fifth-year Cat Graves played the first 56 minutes and recorded two saves. Junior Peyton Delongchamp played the remaining 34 minutes to help preserve the shutout.

The Oilers will return home to DeHaven Field on Saturday, October 24, to host the Tiffin Dragons. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
