Lexington, Ky. – The University of Findlay men's golf team wrapped up play on Sunday, March 15, at the SVSU Men's Invitational at Kearney Hills Golf Links in Lexington, Kentucky. The 54-hole tournament, hosted by Saginaw Valley State University, featured the 44th-ranked Oilers competing alongside 41st-ranked Missouri University S&T and several G-MAC and regional opponents.

Findlay posted rounds of 292 (+4), 281 (-7), and 305 (+17) to finish the tournament at 14-over par. Despite challenging windy conditions in the final round, the Oilers secured the team title, finishing five strokes ahead of second-place Missouri S&T. The victory marks Findlay's second team win of the season.

Senior Luke Metzger delivered a consistent performance across all three rounds to earn medalist honors and capture his second career tournament victory. Metzger recorded rounds of 70, 69, and 75 to finish at 2-under par, two strokes clear of the runner-up. His previous tournament win came in September 2024.

Senior Zach Miller turned in the Oilers' lowest score in the final round with a 2-over-par 74. Junior Colin Schadek followed with a 76 (+4), while sophomore Cahle Roth carded an 80 (+8) and freshman Ross Dietz finished with an 81 (+9).

Competing as individuals for Findlay were Cody Widener (75), Luke Siefker (78), Tate Armstrong (78), Jacob Marohn (78), and Jack Gerker (82).
