Indianapolis, Ind.- On Wednesday, April 22, the NCAA released its' first round of regional rankings for each of the eight regions in baseball. The University of Findlay makes an appearance in the poll which, for the first round of voting, is listed alphabetically as teams that are "under consideration". 

The Oilers are 27-15 this season and have eight regular-season games remaining. Ashland joins the Oilers to round out the two teams from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) that appear in the debut of the regional rankings.

This is the first of four regional rankings that will conclude with the NCAA DII Playoff bracket being announced on Monday, May 10.
