Indianapolis, Ind. – Senior Carson Mellott was named Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week, the league announced Monday, April 6, after helping the Oilers to a 3-1 week. Findlay completed a sweep of Cedarville before splitting with Tiffin, extending its program-record winning streak to 12 games prior to a loss at TU.

Mellott earned the win in game two against Tiffin, throwing a complete-game one-hitter shutout. He worked seven innings without allowing a run, struck out 10, and surrendered just a single hit — the fewest hits allowed in a complete game at Findlay since a no-hitter in 2016.
