Indianapolis, Ind. – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) released its annual postseason awards in the sport of women's golf on Friday, May 15. For the 2025-26 season, the Oilers earned five all-conference spots as junior Ashleigh Duflo, senior Ellie Yeazell, senior Hayley Dye, sophomore Gracie James, and freshman Emma Myers were all selected. Ashleigh Duflo was also named G-MAC Player of the Year while Emma Myers earned Freshman of the Year. Head Coach Dominic Guarnieri earned G-MAC Coach of the Year.
G-MAC Player of the Year – Ashleigh Duflo
Now a three-time all-conference player, Ashleigh Duflo has earned her first Player of the Year award one day after being named a first team all-American by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA). Duflo is averaging 74.13 this year through 38 rounds. She has eight rounds under par this season, part of a year in which she has picked up four tournament wins, the second-most tournament wins in a single season in the NCAA era of the program. Her first win of the year came in the Folds of Honor Challenge and her most recent win was at the NCAA East Regional, her second career win at that event.
This is the eighth straight season in which the Oilers have had the conference's Player of the Year.
G-MAC Freshman of the Year – Emma Myers
Earning the program's fifth Freshman of the Year, Emma Myers had a solid debut season with the Oilers. She averaged 77.71 through the final round of the stroke play portion of the National Championship. Myers had one top-five finish which came in her second-ever college event where she finished runner-up, losing in a playoff for tournament medalist. That tournament, the Warrior Invitational, was her best 54-hole score, a 219 (+3).
Coach of the Year – Dominic Guarnieri
After leading the Oilers to a conference title, regional title, and appearance in the NCAA DII National Championship, head coach Dominic Guarnieri has picked up his eighth Women's Coach of the Year honor. It is the longest streak of Coach of the Year awards in the G-MAC in any sport.
All-Conference
Ellie Yeazell, Hayley Dye, and Gracie James each all earned all-conference to round of Findlay's five honorees.
Yeazell is averaging 75.45 this year and has five rounds at even-par or better. She recorded eight top-ten finishes this year and posted a low round of 68 at the Folds of Honor Challenge back on September 16, tied for the lowest round by any player on the team this year.
Hayley Dye, who just yesterday finished tied for fifth at the NCAA DII National Championship to earn all-American, is now a four-time all-G-MAC performer. She is averaging 75.58 this year, posting three rounds under par. Her low round of the year is a score of 70 which she has done three times, most recently in the second round of the national championship.
Gracie James rounds out Findlay's all-G-MAC list as the sophomore is a conference honoree for the first time in her career. James is averaging 77.74 this season and has two rounds under par, both of which came at the G-MAC Championship back in the end of April. At that event, the Pataskala, Ohio native finished runner-up, her best collegiate finish to-date.
