Webster Named Assistant Swimming Coach at Findlay

Findlay, Ohio- The University of Findlay Athletic Department and Head Swim Coach, Diego Santos, have announced the hiring of Gabby Webster as the assistant swim coach.

"We are delighted to welcome Gabby to the Oiler family," said head coach, Diego Santos. "I knew Gabby was the right person for the job from the very beginning of our search. Gabby is very talented, and she is someone our student-athletes can look up to and learn a tremendous amount from. Gabby will be able to make an impact in every aspect of our program and have a role with every student-athlete on our team. I'm so excited to work with her! We had tremendous interest in this position and in our program, which is a credit to everyone who has been a part of our growth. Gabby will be a tremendous addition, and we cannot wait to get started!"


Webster comes to Findlay after serving as a volunteer assistant coach at PennWest Clarion, an NCAA Division II institution in Clarion, Pennsylvania. During her time with the Golden Eagles, she worked alongside the head coach on day-to-day administrative operations, assisted with official and unofficial recruiting visits, and contributed to the development of training regimens and practice plans. Webster also helped lead the men's and women's teams to fourth-place finishes at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships.

Webster was a member of the Clarion Golden Eagles swimming and diving team from 2021-25. During her collegiate career, she was a four-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete and earned three All-Conference honors, including PSAC titles in the 100 and 200 backstroke in 2024.

A native of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, Webster earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, Nutrition and Fitness from PennWest Clarion in May 2025 before completing her master's degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion in June 2026.
