Football Climbs to #9 in AFCA Rankings

Findlay, Ohio - The American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) released this week's Division II National Coaches Poll following Week 2 action. The University of Findlay football team climbed to No. 9 in the polls after another 20-point win, defeating Fairmont State 37-17 on Saturday in Donnell Stadium.

With the win, Findlay moves to 2-0 and remain in the top-ten, the fourth time in the last two years the team has been amongst the nation's top-ten teams.

UF is one of two teams in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) to appear in this week's rankings. Ashland dropped out of the rankings, but Northwood, after a 2-0 start, has climbed to No. 25.
