Findlay, OH – The University of Findlay men's soccer team finished out their non-conference schedule for the 2026 season against the Indianapolis University Greyhounds at DeHaven Field on September 2, 2026. In a match dealing with extreme heat, the Oilers came out on top with a 1-0 victory against the Greyhounds to give them their first 3-0-0 start since 2019. The Greyhounds fall to 1-1-1. 

In the 17th minute of play, senior Carson Oberski would score from a right-footed shot that found the bottom left corner of the net to give Findlay an early 1-0 lead. This would be Oberski's first goal of the 2026 season. Findlay would remain ahead heading into the half. 

The Oilers would continue to control the match heading into the second half, generating six shots to the Greyhounds' two in the final 45 minutes of play. The Oilers would also tally seven second half corners in an effort to extend their lead. Findlay would go on to outshoot Indianapolis 8-5 in total shots in the match, with Oberski tallying four for himself.  

The Oilers look to keep momentum going as they begin conference play with Northwood at DeHaven Field on Tuesday, September 8.
