Indianapolis, Ind. - University of Findlay sophomore Emma Myers has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Women's Golf Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Monday, September 28. Myers and the Oilers competed in the Mary Fossum Invitational this past week, hosted by Michigan State University and featuring a field of 13 NCAA Division I programs. Findlay finished the event in sixth place.

Myers carded rounds of 80 and 73 to finish tied for 13th at 153 (+9). Led by Myers, the Oilers posted a final-round team score of 297, which was the lowest single-round team score by any team in the tournament.
