Allendale, Mich. - The University of Findlay women's golf team wrapped up play at the Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invite on Monday, September 28, earning its first tournament victory of the 2026-27 season. The Oilers posted a team score of 300 (+12) in the final round to secure the team title. In addition, senior Ashleigh Duflo claimed medalist honors, while four Findlay golfers finished among the top five.
Duflo fired her second consecutive round of 71 (-1) to finish at the top of the leaderboard. With the victory, the senior now has six tournament wins in her career.
Finishing in a tie for second were Emma Myers and Lillian O'Grady. Both golfers finished the 54-hole event at 5-over par, with Myers carding a final-round 76 (+4) and O'Grady recording a 77 (+5).
Ellie Yeazell rounded out Findlay's top-five finishers, posting a final-round 76 (+4) to finish fourth overall.
Gracie James carded a 78 (+6) in the final round to finish tied for 12th at the tournament.
Competing as an individual in her first collegiate event, Chaille Payne earned a top-10 finish. Payne posted a final-round 76 (+4) to finish seventh overall. Fellow individual Audrey Keplar finished tied for 37th after recording a 79 (+7) in the final round.

The Oilers will be back on the course October 5-6, where they play host to the William Beall Fall Classic at Findlay Country Club.
