Tim Babcock enters his 16th year as an Oilers assistant coach in the 2026 season.

He has been involved in fastpitch softball for more than 40 years as both a player and a coach. During his eight seasons as head softball coach at Findlay High School, he guided the Trojans to three league championships and a regional tournament appearance. Before that, Babcock spent six years as an assistant coach for the Trojan girls’ basketball team.

Now retired from Marathon Petroleum, he lives in Findlay with his wife, Sonja. The couple has two adult children, Blake and Brooke—both former collegiate student-athletes—and five grandchildren.
