Greg Noftz began as a volunteer assistant coach with the Oilers women’s basketball team in 2022.
Noftz brings to the Oilers a wealth of basketball expertise spanning more than three decades, having served as a head coach for both men and women at different levels. His coaching journey includes roles as an associate head coach for men's college basketball and as an assistant coach for men's college basketball, with notable stints at Heidelberg College, Tiffin University, and Owens Community College. As the associate head coach at Owens Community College Noftz help guide the Express to a 84 and 20 record over 3 years with an OAC conference championship, Region 12 championship, and a 5th place finish at the National Tournament NJCAA Division 2.
He also spent time as a high school coach at Marion Harding High School and Lehman Catholic High School, compiling a record of 196-133. Noftz was named as a high school conference Coach of the Year four times and was the AP D-I All-Ohio Coach of the Year in 2010.
Noftz resides In Findlay and runs his own Sports Performance Business.
