Heidi (Schlegel) Hahn is entering her first year as a volunteer assistant coach on the women's basketball staff for the 2023-24 season.
Prior to arriving at the University of Findlay, she worked as the video coordinator for the Bowling Green State University women's basketball program and was on the women's basketball staff at Findlay High School.
Hahn played professionally overseas in Germany, following her collegiate career at NCAA Division I Yougstown State University.
While playing for BG Donau-Ries in the German First Division, Hahn earned all-league honors while averaging 13.9 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.
At Youngstown State University, Hahn was named to the all-Horizon league first team in each of her last two seasons. She scored 1,729 points in her career, good for fourth in school history. Hahn is the program's all-time leader in free throws made, fifth in career minutes played, sixth in both games played and double-doubles, and seventh in rebounding (796).
Prior to heading to Youngstown State, Hahn was named the Western Buckeye League (WBL) Player of the Year, District Player of the Year, and an all-Ohio selection as a senior at Wapakoneta High School. She helped lead the Redskins to the Division II state championship game in her junior season, and she became just the fourth player in school history to eclipse 1,000 career points.
A native of Wapakoneta, Ohio, Hahn earned her bachelor of science degree in middle childhood education in 2014 before earning her masters on interdisciplinary communications in 2016 from Yougstown State University. She currently resides in Findlay, Ohio with her husband, Eric, and children, Henrik, and Gretchen.
