The University of Findlay volleyball team gained their third win in the GLIAC/GLVC Crossover Tournament when the Oilers defeated Drury University 3-1 (25-15, 26-24, 21-25, 25-14) on Saturday, October 15, in Aurora, Illinois. Findlay advances to 9-11 on the season with the victory.

Jessica VonIns produced a triple-double with 29 assists, 11 digs and 11 kills. Mackenzie Vorst and Danielle Taflinger generated 12 and 10 kills, respectively, for the Oiler offense.

Samantha Granger chipped in 12 digs for Findlay while Andrea Holthaus had five blocks.

The Oilers return to action on Friday, October 21, when Findlay travels to Tiffin University. The volleyball game is slated for 7:00 p.m.
