The University of Findlay women's soccer team was defeated by Grand Valley State 2-0 on Sunday, Oct. 23 in Allendale, Mich.

The Lakers jumped in front in the 22nd minute with their first goal and struck again in the 48th minute with their second.

Keeper Alicia Tutino managed nine saves in the match.

The loss brings the Oilers' overall record to 6-8-1 on the season with a 5-6-1 mark in GLIAC play.

Findlay will be back in action on Friday, Oct. 28 when they host Lake Erie at DeHaven Field in Findlay, Ohio.
