The University of Findlay Oilers were defeated by the score of 2-1 on Sunday, Sept. 18 by the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals in Findlay, Ohio.

Findlay's only goal came at the 38 minute when senior Corey Keister blistered a shot from 40 yards out that hit the crossbar and bounced into the net.

Zach Walega, of Saginaw Valley, scored the final goal of the match in the 21 minute of the first half.

Goal keepers Alex Jurek and Matthew Brooks had a combined six saves after splitting time between the posts for the Oilers.

Findlay's next match will be on Wednesday, Sept. 21 against Ohio Valley University.  The contest is scheduled to begin at 4 pm in Vienna, West Virginia.
