The University of Findlay women's soccer team was defeated by #17 Northern Kentucky University 7-1 on Friday, September 2 at DeHaven Field in their first game of the 2011 season.

The Norse scored three goals in the first half and added four more in the second half as they connected on 7-of-11 shots on goal.

Junior Megan Gallaway scored the Oilers lone goal on a header off of a corner kick from sophomore Katie Burke.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Sunday when they host Bellarmine University at 12 pm.
