The University of Findlay women's basketball team built a 54-20 advantage at halftime and cruised to a 91-49 victory over Ursuline College on Wednesday, Nov. 14 in Croy Gymnasium.
The Oilers shot 44.3 percent (35-of-79) from the floor and drained 10-of-27 (37%) shots from behind the three point line in the game. They also forced 31 turnovers, which resulted in 23 steals for Findlay.
Senior forward Kayla Brown led the way with 24 points on 10-of-16 shooting while freshman guard Alyssa Grevenkamp came off the bench to add 13 points and four steals.
Junior guard Karli Beasley had 12 points, five rebounds and five steals while senior guard Kendra Elam stuffed the stat sheet with six points, six steals, four rebounds and three assists.
The Oilers will be back out on the court again on Nov. 21 when they hit the road to face Notre Dame College at 6 p.m.
